Chancellor, and Beverly Fischer. Purpose: Constitution Meeting called to order by President A. J Raso. Opening Prayer and Devotional: Andy Simon gave the devotional and opening prayer. The constitution, including bylaws and continuing resolutions was reviewed page for page with David Weden; suggestions and changes marked accordingly. Duties and responsibilities of specific church council positions as written in the constitution shall be reviewed by each committee and adjustments are to be made as continuing resolutions. Steve Anfinson motioned to approve the version as amended during our discussion as the draft to be presented to the congregation. Bobbie Joines seconded the motion. Motion carried by all. Revised copies of the constitution must be mailed to the congregation no later than September 15, 2008. Constitutional open forum dates are Wednesday September 24, 2008 @ Noon and Monday October 6, 2008 @ 6:00p.m. Pastor recommends a person knowledgeable with Robert’s Rule of Order be available to assist at the congregational meeting October 19, 2008.
